Why not maximize your creativity?
You cannot blame yourself having no creativity, if you never explore or let it developed, practiced or given the opportunity to shine.
Are you the creative and free spirit type of person who has all the wonderful, crazy, abstract images and ideas flashing through your mind and talking from one point flying to another point? Are you a person who likes to appreciate art, do paintings, initiate and create some projects in life? Or are you the logical, step-by-step type of person who is more regulated at thoughts and behaviors? Or perhaps you do not attend any art events, prefers more technical projects and believe you are not a creative person?
The truth is creativity itself is subjective and unrestricted to any boundaries. It is spontaneous, out of blue and deviated from the norm. Most of us have been conditioned (by our parents, education system and society) to follow the norm, to be in the majority ‘normal’ part of the social group and behaviors. Being different and crazy creative is an outlier, irrespective it’s a positive or a negative outlier. How can we put a measurement of ‘normality’ to an abstract, immeasurable subject like creativity? And believe statements like: “You are not creative” or “You don’t have the creativity in you”…etc., and stop exploring and maximizing your creative ability?
If you see yourself having creative ability, no matter how others think, go ahead to maximize your creativity in your daily job and life, have fun with it, enjoy it with your wonderful creations and share with the people around you. On the other hand, if you don’t see the creativity in you, simply just give yourself and the creativity within you a chance, explore it, unleash it and develop it. What you don’t see does not mean it doesn’t exist. What and who makes you think you are not creative? It’s purely a perception on a subjective matter!
Beauty lies in the eyes of its beholder. Be the one who recognizes and appreciates your creative ability!
Today I love myself by: (read the below aloud 3 times and listen to what you read)
I am open and aware of my potential creativity; I unleash, explore, develop and practice the creative side within me. Creativity itself is subjective, so my own view matters the most. I recognize and appreciate my creative ability.
Today’s home work:
Brainstorm for creative activities and choose one activity to do today, to deviate from your daily routines or behaviors, i.e. do an art activity, create a new dish or drink, create a trip plan, improvising dance steps, create own song or even experiment new love making positions.
