He who controls his wealth, is the master of own wealth; he who controlled by becomes its slave.
Even a man who has endless wealth, if he or she doesn’t master and take good care of it, i.e. spend or invest wisely, there will be that one day when everything is gone and nothing is left. For the rest of us who have limited wealth, that day will just come sooner. So where do you stand with your finances? What is your relationship with your money?
Take a list and roughly list out your currently monthly income, i.e. salary, pocket money, interest, investment dividends…etc, deducting your monthly fixed expenses like rent, food, insurances, medical aids and so on, how much do you have left? And what do you do with this amount of money? Do you use it wisely or spend them all on pleasures? Or do you sacrifice everything, just to accumulate them with or without a purpose?
Whatever you decide, whether to use, spend or save them, it’s simply your choices. You get to be happy and at the same time be responsible about your decisions. You may choose to fulfill the living style and quality standard that you (and your family) are longing for; you may enjoy the pleasures that money could bring to the extreme; or you save and utilize them in later stage to achieve your dreams and goals. It’s important that you are the master of your finance and you are stress free about it.
Life is short; don’t waste your time on worrying about money. Let money brings you pleasures, security and generates more money. Change your thought about money, change your wealth.
Today I love myself by: (read the below aloud 3 times and listen to what you read)
I am the master of my wealth; I have control over them, I decide the how, where, when and what I spend my money on. I let money works for me, not the other way around.
Today’s home work:
